Its been 21 years since the Chicago SummerDance started. It gives people the chance to connect and spread their love for dance with eachother. Throughout the summer it holds events where you are able to experience the sound of 48 different live bands, whilst dancing on recently restored 4,900 square foot, recycled, open air dance floor designed by one of Chicago own Dan Peterman.
The summer dance event is one of the largest annual outdoor live music and dancing series in the United States. It offers a one hour dance lesson with professionals, and the option to stay on the dance floor and put what you've learn to the test, combinding all your new dance styles to most importantly have fun.
